I was out for my first hike in several years on this somewhat remote trail, a very pleasant hike on a trail that seems to get few visitors so I decided to add a little more incentive. This interesting bit of nature's art seemed a perfect spot.
Beware of the normal dangers -- rattle snakes, ticks and poison oak. I saw no PO near the cache, but did see it along the trail. This cache is in Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve. The posted hours are sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.
