THE FOUR ELEMENTS OF WALTON BURN Multi-Cache

Throughout world history almost every advanced civilisation has held a belief that everything in existence is formed from four basic elements These are of course:EARTH, WATER, AIR & FIRE.

This cache has four stages, each one symbolising one of these four elements.

Stout footwear is adviseable and a basic level of agility is needed.

Walton Burn is situated on the boundary of North Lanarkshire and Falkirk council, the area surrounding the burn is enjoyed by dog walkers and the occaisional quad bike and due to its "vacant" status has no formal purpose. Further down the burn are spectacular hidden waterfalls.

This cache has four stages situated along the north lanarkshire side of the burn. This cache should be accesible to most, however there are a few steep embankments and suitable footwear should be worn. Both the Air and Water stage involve "activities" in order to progress please refer to stage notes.

The first stage EARTH is a small camouflaged container.
