Placed for our Geokid, this is one of her favourite places - Auckland's smallest volcano, Puketapapa or Pukeiti - a short climb to all of 30 metres above sea level!
Geokid says this place rocks with all of the volcanic rocks!
The reserve is tapu or sacred to local Maori tribes. Please be respectful while visiting.
Due to the nature of this area there may be cattle around the path and site. Path is over rough pot-holed grassed area. Not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Please re-hide well, and remember if you take a treasure to leave another treasure in it's place.
