Geocache Description:

The location definitely lives up to its namesake and I could see the city buildings on the horizon. There is nothing terribly difficult about this cache except you may need to factor in a time allowance for it.  Its not a park and grab or even a short walk and grab.

Now, this cache is a bit different.... It isn't by any means terribly hard like some of my others, and should be relatively easily to retrieve.

I came across this type of cache somewhere else and as I hadn't seen anything like it around the Bluies or Western Sydney, thought it might be worth a go here.

So, once you find the cache, enjoy the cache's name and hopefully enjoy the challenge! Some will get frustrated with this and give up and log a dnf, but others who successfully complete the challenge and get to put their names in the log. I will be checking on this one from time to time and will delete any logs not found in the cache log.

Please don't vent your frustration in the retrieval and damage the cache as it is only going to mean an early archive of the cache and an opportunity lost for other seekers.  Take your time and enjoy the view, especially if it is a nice day.  A nice little spot to sit and relax while you solve the puzzle.

Soooo, there is a puzzle involved? Yes.  Hard? No.  Frustrating?  Very likely.  Take a long time?  How long is a piece of string?  That long..... Solvable?  Absolutely - have done so a few times in around 15 mins but that can vary greatly (and I will go and check the log book periodically and delete any incorrect logs)

Now, with getting to GZ....  There are quite possibly a number of ways to get there...  I bashed (its an easy bash - not a Badman bash!) my way up from the same start point as my Leeches cache.  Not terribly difficult but possibly a longer way to do it I've since discovered.  From GZ there are a few defined trails that actually head back up toward Mt Riv/East Blaxland.  I did start tracking these and one appears to go straight into the backyard of the house at the end of Applegum, so don't think that will provide a nice simple access route unless you know the owner.  The second seemed to run parallel to Applegum and head towards Panorama, but as I followed it, the trail never turned up towards it but instead looked like it was going to end up somewhere off Dixon or even as far as Yoogali. You can explore that yourself if you like... It definitely would shorten the time to get to GZ if that is an access trail.
So, for the time being, until someone finds an easier access route, I'll leave the ratings as they are.  If another easier entry point is found, let me know and I will change the description and rating to reflect....  I don't want to make this any harder than it already is.

Have fun and remember, patience is a virtue!
