Note ~ 9Key adopted this cache more than a year ago. 2 years
maybe?
Why? My cousin lived in Clute at the time of the adoption but has
since moved back home to Wisconsin.
9Key visited the in 2003 and added a another log book, just in
case. In January of 2005 ljtxhiker adopted the "adoptee" and will
continue to support and maintain Gatorbait.
Original description:
This cache isn't too difficult to find so you should have plenty of
other time to find the other caches hidden in this park.
October, 2006 - Replaced the container with an ammo can. All old
caches ought to be in ammo cans anyway. This one better stay
DRY!
Note! You must go to the park office and pay the entrance fee or
show them your Texas Conservation Passport in order to log this
cache!
Be forewarned that this is a state park and as such full of
wildlife which might include snakes and gators (hence the name).
They are disinterested in people so don't worry too much.
The cache is off a dirt path about 20 or 30 feet so you
shouldn't have too many worries, just keep it in the back of your
mind.
Have fun and enjoy the park!
