Ekorren (Sciurus vulgaris) förekommer rikligt i hela landet. Lätet är smattrande eller tjattrande, men även andra ljud förekommer.

Orava esiintyy lajirikkaana koko maassa. Ääntely on säksätystä, undulaattimaista kujerrusta tai kurnutusta ja niiskuttelua.

The squirrel is abundant in the whole country. The sound is a patter, chatter and croaking.
