Geocache Description:

Banen her i Tromsø består av to løp.

In Norway, NAF (Norwegian Automobile Association) runs 27 training courses, or skid pans as they are better known. Two of these are located in Troms county - one in Bardu and this one here in Tromsø.

The course in Tromsø consists of two tracks. The surface of the friction fields consists of steel and can withstand the use of studded tires. The S-curve has a turning radius of 40 meters, while the straight stretch is 8 meters wide and 90 meters long.

The cache is a PET tube hidden in a safe distance from the both the skid pan facility and the road.
