Geocache Description:

A pleasant park with amenities and a cache - the first for our town. 

Originally, this was the site of a confectioner's store - the tin cache contains historical information about the view from the cache site and some small swappables. The park has bottle trees which relate to the origin of the name of Goombungee. The main street is most beautiful in late October and November when the jacarandas and silky oaks bloom. Enjoy a pleasant day in a great country town.
