Geocache Description:

This cache is placed along a hiking trail created by the local Boy Scout Troop 61, as part of an Eagle Scout project.  The trail has been added to in the past year, thus the need for an additional cache along the trail!

As with the original Be Prepared, you will need to walk down the pedestrian path to the entrance of the Eagle Scout project trail.  This 3,200 foot long berm, which connects Belleville’s North Shore sub-division to the Community Park, separates the Sugar River from Lake Belle View and creates a warm water fishery.

If there have been recent rains, this Boy Scout hiking trail can be very wet with lots of mosquitos.  Follow the trail as far west as you can, and then follow a secondary trail (also known as a tad bit of very light bushwhacking for the final 150'). The container has room for travel bugs and is loaded up with swag. There is a crisp, get this, one dollar bill in it for the first to find as well. Have fun! Congratulations to siamesedrummer on the FTF, and after the sun had set to boot!

A special thank you to C of CEO&J for this, what I consider, awesome container!

Permission for this geocache was granted by Tim Francois, Belleville Public Works & Utilities Director.
