The late Allan Turner, a long-serving Waikato District Council environment planner, was a passionate advocate for walkways and community connection; it is therefore very fitting that he is remembered by this walkway and suspension bridge across the Mangaharakeke stream that creates a link between Tamahere and Matangi.
It is well worth a walk across this fantastic bridge; we've even hidden a cache at the other end of the pathway to tempt you over!
