A regular screw top plastic container
A regular container with views. Walk across the road to the east and you will see in the middle distance a heavily treed area with widely spaced buildings. This was the Gladstone Army Dump and during WW11 was used to store huge amounts of munitions. In latter years it was used to store mainly ammunition for the civilian market as well as some military explosives. Latter in its life two explosive factories were constructed here, one of which exploded in May 2006 killing 3 people and injuring 2 One was a local farmer who worked there. Now it is unused.
