Geocache Description:

A Treasure Chest awaits on the Coast to Coast path.

Cache is hidden in the underpass of the rail bridge. There is no need to leave the path or go anywhere near the railway line! Be careful not to push the cache back too far when replacing the cache!

Also there is no need to disturb or damage the tunnel walls.

Cache can be approached on public footpaths from St Bee's or Moor Row or Sandwith or if you want a shorter walk there is parking for one car on the B5345 at the entrance to Bell House Farm (but be careful not to block the farm road).

The Coast to Coast Walk is a 192-mile (309 km) long-distance footpath in Northern England. Devised by Alfred Wainwright, it passes through three contrasting national parks: the Lake District National Park, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and the North York Moors National Park.

Wainwright recommends that walkers dip their booted feet in the Irish Sea at St Bees and, at the end of the walk, in the North Sea at Robin Hood's Bay.
