The cache is situated about 10km outside of Uitenhage and 22km on the road to Cockscomb.
Permission was granted by the owner to place the cache. He might even come and greet you, so do not be afraid to have a chat to him, he might even become a geocacher himself. He is then also the guardian of the cache.
There has been common sightings of different species like kudu, springbuck, zebra, sable antelope, impala, blesbuck, bushbuck, njala, eland, warthog, steenbok, duiker, vervet monkeys, suricate and giraffe as well as several nocturnal species such as jackal, foxes, porcupine, aardvark and owls in the area.
Feel free to enjoy the water holes and different outdoor and educational activities in the area, it is such a beautiful nature spot to loose yourself and just be quiet for a moment on two.
Please use stealth mode over weekends, as there might be a lot of farmworkers walking on the road on their way back to the farms. Keep your eyes open, you might even spot some game on your way there and back.
