Die Blankkapelle verdankt ihre Errichtung dem nach Jahren doch noch erfüllten Kinderwunsch der guten, wenngleich auch nicht mehr taufrischen Eheleute Blank. Da die Kapelle bei der Neugestaltung des nahegelegenen Bahnüberganges im Wege war, hat man sie kurzerhand abgetragen und hier wieder Stein für Stein aufgebaut. Zugegeben, dieser Platz ist weitaus gemütlicher, als jener direkt beim Bahnübergang.
Du kannst dein Gefährt am angegebenen Parkplatz abstellen. Wenn du es besonders eilig hast, kannst du aber auch bis zum Cache weiterfahren und dein Mobil am Straßenrand kurz abstellen; es entgeht dir in diesem Fall jedoch ein netter Spaziergang. Der Cache befindet sich rund 25m nördlich der Kapelle. Passe auf die Stacheln auf. Bitte nimm einen Schreibstift mit. Viel Spaß!
Tipp:
Von der nur wenige Schritte entfernten Brücke über den Schmida-Bach kann im November, rund um St. Martin, die neue, spektakuläre Attraktion einer "Unterwasserbrücke" bewundert werden. Diese Unterwasserbrücke kann selbstverständlich über- bzw. unterquert werden.

The erection of Blank's Chapel is due to the desiderate but late delivery of a child to a good but no longer dewy couple named Mr and Mrs Blank. As the chapel would be in a block to the redesign of the nearby railway crossing, it was torn off summarily and reerected stone by stone at this site. Admittedly, the new site is much more snuggish than the old site at the railway crossing.
You might park your vehicle at the designated coordinates. If you are in a hurry, you might drive up to the cache and have a short stop at the roadside; however, you will miss a nice walk. The container is located about 80 feet north of the chapel. Mind the prickles. Please, bring your own pencil. Have fun!
Tip:
During November, around St. Martin's Day, the metropolis' newest spectacular attraction of an "Under Water Bridge" can be admired. You can of course walk over it or cross below. It is just a few steps away and is located next to the conventional bridge over the brook "Schmida".
