PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO A WEEK EARLIER IE 15th NOVEMBER 2014
The Launch of the Ardnamurchan Breed of the Highland Haggi.
This new breed has been working behind the scenes to create another part of this amazing network and bring cachers to a beautiful part of the world. This branch will be at the above coordinates from 10am until 2pm with Birthday cake and a printout of the approximate 100 caches that will hopefully be published on this day.
Please note that the peninsular is renowned for its lack of internet access although at the event you may be ok.
The Ardnamurchan Breed will be at Brewers Fayre, Ft William at 6pm in the evening to hear all your tales of success, and woe. If you are planning to come and dine with them please let the organisers know by 10th November 2014 by writing a note in your Will Attend log. See seperate event listing GC5FNHN
The Corran Ferry runs from 6:30am to 9:30pm on this day and costs about £8 one way for a car, passengers are free. If you have a blue badge holder make sure they are in the car with their badge as then you will get over for nothing. You can drive round the loch but from the north it will add about 20 miles to your journey and from the south it will add about 40 miles.
THERE IS ONLY ONE PETROL STATION ON THE ARDNAMURCHAN PENINSULAR (Strontian and expensive).
OUR ADVICE IS TO TOP UP JUST BEFORE YOU COME OVER EITHER IN FORT WILLIAM OR BALLACHULISH
