The fact that you are reading this confirms my worst fears. I will try to explain but there is not much time.
20 years ago my brother Kako and I were exploring this land when we came upon a hidden marker. Inside the marker was a metal plate containing a number. After years of searching we were able to uncover five other markers with various numbers hidden within them.
It wasn't until we stumbled upon the Book of Ages that we realized the significance of the markers and their true power. The book contained a list of marker and number combinations. When each marker was set in a particular sequence, a portal would be opened allowing us to travel to other dimensions and other worlds.
Over the next 14 years we set upon the task of documenting the amazing worlds we visited using the marker/number combinations found within the book.
About six months ago I began to notice subtle changes in my brother’s behavior, changes that worried me.
Using the Gateway, Kako began making secret trips at night under the cover of darkness. Soon after, I discovered his journal and the horrors contained within.
That very morning I departed to Tzors to prepare a prison where my brother could be held safely until I could find a way to help him. I soon discovered that my plans were not as secret as I had hoped. My brother followed me. Soon after my departure, He set upon the task of changing the numbers at each marker preventing my return.
I'm sorry I can't explain further but time is of the essence. Our only hope is to obtain the numbers that are currently on each marker and activate the Gateway so I can return and stop my brother before he can cause more damage.

You must be careful and not let Kako discover what you are up to. If he does I fear all will be lost. Once you have collected all the information proceed to the Gateway and sign the book. By doing so the Gateway will be activated allowing me to return.
