The last in a series of nearly 4 dozen geocaches placed along a 160-mile length of the Bear River between Niter (Idaho) and the Bear River Bird Refuge (Utah) in the summers of 2013 and 2014. Geocache names refer to the distance in river miles from the Cove Powerhouse southwest of Niter where we began our long canoe journey. It was our intent that all the caches in this series (except this one) could only be accessed by floating the river, thereby encouraging others to explore and enjoy the "Bear" for themselves. We hope you'll take the challenge.
This cache is located on the north side of the Bear River Bird Refuge road about 5 miles west of Interstate 15 at the point where the river is first visible. The cache container is a yellow plastic capsule. BYOP.
