This is my first cache in an area that has a parking fee for some cachers some of the time. There are no fees after Labor Day (Sept) until Memorial Day (May). Elders get free entry during weekdays in the summer. Green Lakes State Park is a large area that offers several types of relaxation including golf, swimming, camping, hiking, boating, biking, picnic tables, fishing and of course GEOCACHING. Across the road there is access to the Erie Canal towpath. Just a simple cache to start your day off. This cache joins more than 25 others within the park and along the towpath which would make for a long day.
