Consecrated in the year of Confederation, 1867, St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery has been a fixture and an integral part of the Catholic Community in Barrie for almost 140 years.
Originally meant to meet the needs of St. Mary’s Parish, the cemetery has grown with the city and the Catholic Community to now also serve St. John Vianney parish, Holy Spirit parish and Our Lady of Grace parish in Angus and the surrounding area.
St. Mary’s Cemetery is centrally located on Sunnidale Road across from Sunnidale Park in Barrie.
