Monkey Park
Close to the hotels and shopping street of Senegambia there is a lovely monkey park.
Several monkey families from three different kind of monkeys inhabit the park.
I recommend a guided walk through the park. This way you will see many animals and it is allowed to feed the monkeys.
You can get the feed at the entrance.
You will also be able to spot other animals like birds or little saurians. Afterwards you can enjoy the beach and the ocean - it's only a few meters away.
The cache is located within the entrance area of the park. Let the staff help you. To log the cache it is not necessary to visit the park, but you would be missing out.
Heads up! Unfortunately, some of the cache-keepers demand money for the release of the cachebox. If you're not willing to do that, you better go to another cache right away. I cannot influence it from Germany, but consider the price of your trip in relation to the cache.
Unweit der Senegambia-Einkaufs- und Hotelmeile befindet sich der sehenswerte Affenpark, in dem einige Affenfamilien aus drei Affenarten leben.
Eine geführte Wanderung durch den Park ist sehr empfehlenswert, man bekommt viele Tiere zu sehen, die Affen dürfen auch gefüttert werden, das Futter gibt es am Eingang.
Weitere Tiere wie Vögel, kleine Echsen und anderes Kleingetier wirst du sicher auch zu sehen bekommen.
Anschließend kannst du den Strand und das Meer genießen, es sind nur ein paar Meter.
Der Cache befindet sich im Eingangsbereich des Parks, laß dir vom Personal helfen.
Ein Besuch des Affenparks ist zum Heben des Caches nicht notwendig, aber du verpaßt etwas.
Achtung! Leider verlangen einige der Cachewärter Geld für die Herausgabe der Cachebox. Wenn Du nicht bereit dazu bist, gehe besser gleich zu einem anderen Cache. Ich kann es nicht von Deutschland aus beeinflussen, aber bedenke den Preis deiner Reise in Relation zum Cache.
