Heartland Cacher: Greetings I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for caches submitted to Geocaching.com.

I can't find any recent responses from the Cache Owner about maintaining this cache which makes it appear the Cache Owner is either unwilling or unable to maintain the cache. Cache maintenance includes listing maintenance including updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing needs maintenance attributes and enabling the listing. The cache will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

"If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived."

Geocache Description:

"Crescit eundo" or "It grows as it goes"

In 1995, the state Senate unanimously passed a bill to require psychologists and psychiatrists to wear wizards outfits and wave a wand when testifying in court because the senators were annoyed with how often their "expert" testimony was relied upon. The bailiff would also be required to dim the lights and ring a gong. The bill didn't end up passing the state House.

Tens of thousands of bats live in the Carlsbad Caverns. The largest chamber of Carlsbad Caverns is more than 10 football fields long and about 22 stories high.

Cimarron was once known as the "Cowboy capital of the world". Some of the old west's most famous names, such as Kit Carson and "Buffalo Bill" Cody lived there. A quote from the Las Vegas Gazette illustrates how lawless Cimarron was. "Everything is quiet in Cimarron. Nobody has been killed in 3 days."

After WWII Los Alamos and Albuquerque had many new laboratories. Hundreds of highly educated Scientists and Engineers moved in the state. New Mexico soon had a higher percentage of people with Ph.D.s than any other state.
