CDPT - Down By The River Side Traditional Cache

Geo Wife just loved this spot as it reminded her when she used to go with her family swimming to different creeks and swimming holes!!

It also reminded me of an old song I used to sing at church when I was young "I'm Gonna Lay Down My Burdens, Down By The Riverside, Down By The Riverside......"

We hope you find this spot as tranquil and refreshing as we found it (ignoring the passing traffic breaking the silence) and don't forget to lay down your burdens!!!

CDPT - COUCHMEN & DCHANELL POWER TRAIL

I (Couchmen) had spotted this area was very sparce of caches so I thought about how I could present caches around the area.

I had previously noticed that there were a lot of sugar cane fields and upon investigation found that there was a local sugar cane factory that had been in the area for 4 generations and owned by the same family the whole time.

I therefore had my theme as the area holds little significance apart from sugar cane.

To cover the area myself was a mamoth task so I invited (DChanell) to have a look at the concept and join with me in creating a power trail.

It was through these discussions that the power trail grew to be achieveable. So here is the Power Trail also to be known as :-

JACOBS WELL POWER TRAIL

We hope that you enjoy the trail and explore for yourselves the history of the area and the industry.

We will be rolling this out over a period of time so that there can be different opportunities for Teams to get FTF's and collect any FTF prizes that are up for grabs.

Sorry to those who would have liked to do the power trail all as one but we thought it fair to roll it out to prolong our and your enjoyment!
