Cette cache fait partie d'une série de Mysteries (+ une cache bonus) sur le thème des albums de Lucky Luke.
Il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir les albums pour trouver la cache.
18 mois à peine après avoir vu le jour, l'existence du Pony Express est menacée par une toute nouvelle technologie révolutionnaire : le télégraphe !
Washington a décidé de financer l'installation d'une liaison télégraphique reliant les deux côtes des Etats-Unis. Lucky Luke se joint bien évidemment à ce nouveau chantier qui démarre.
Le fil qui chante, comme les indiens l'appellent à cause du vent qui fait chanter les fils, avance malgré les inévitables difficultés rencontrées sur le chemin.
Quand nous retrouvons Lucky Luke, l'équipe a dépassé Grand Junction depuis un bon moment. Le chantier a quitté le Colorado pour traverser l'Utah en direction de Cedar City.
Les ressources étant rares, on manque de poteaux. Il n'est pas question de faire des détours et le chantier doit progresser en ligne droite d'une ville à l'autre, quels que soient les obstacles qui se dressent sur sa route !
Le chantier est déjà à 50 miles de Grand Junction, sur les terres des indiens Shoshones, quand Washakie, le chef des Shoshones, se dresse en travers de la route du fil qui chante.
Le temps de trouver une solution, le chantier est à l'arrêt.
Peu après, James Gamble, l'ingénieur en chef, reçoit le message suivant :

This cache is part of a serie of mystery caches about Lucky Luke comics. You don't need to have the books to find the cache.
Just 18 months after being born, the existence of the Pony Express is threatened by a revolutionary new technology: the telegraph.
Washington has decided to fund the installation of a telegraph line connecting the two coasts of the United States. Lucky Luke is of course joining this new project.
The "Fil qui Chante" (the line that sing) as the Indians call it because of the sound made by the wind on the line, is progressing despite the difficulties encountered on the way.
When we join with Lucky Luke, the team as already passed Grand Junction for a while. The telegraph has left the Colorado in order to go through the Utah, towards Cedar City.
Since resources arescarce, there is a lack of wood posts. No detour can be done and the telegraph must go in a straight line from one city to another, regardless of the obstacles in his way!
The team is already 50 miles from Grand Junction, in the Shoshone Indian land when Washakie, the Shoshone chief, stands in the middle of the the road.
For the Shoshones, the "Fil qui Chante" is a bad medicine. The Great Spirit is against the building of the telegraph and the Shoshones are ready to fight to stop it !
The work is stopped for the time required to find a solution.
Soon after, the chief Engineer James Gamble, receives the following message.
