Geocache Description:

Cache 'n dash just off the A143 between Bungay and Beccles. This is one of a number of similar caches that I am hoping to place, all of which will be located just off the beaten track!

St Michael's church has been built into a hill beside Yarmouth Road. The round tower dates from the 12th century but after a Victorian restoration, the rebuilding of the chancel and the addition of a north transept in 1864 not many original features remain. The porch is medieval as is the baptismal font. pulpit and benches date from the 19th century and the unusual east window was installed in the 20th century.

“If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first at churchmicro@gmail.coam so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication. There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list ”
