Geocache Description:

This is a Mutlicache.  The coordinates to the final stage are provided; however, they are encrypted in WEBELOS Code.  The cacher must go to the first stage, which is a large container that holds the key to the WEBELOS Code, and decrypt the final coordinates.  The final container is large and is filled with items that would be appealing to a Scout.

Recently, I attended a WEBELOS (Cub Scout rank that stands for We Be Loyal Scouts) meeting with Bass Boss.  During this meeting, the scouts were charged with creating a secret code that they could use to send messages to each other that no one else could read. When they finished I realized that they created a code that could NOT be cracked by science (unless of course you can understand what is going on in the mind of five 10 year old boys).  I immediately had the idea to use their code to create this cache.

This cache is located in Motts Run Reservoir.  During the last 6 years many scout events have taken place in this park, it is very kid and scout friendly.  I received permission from the City of Fredericksburg to place this cache.  The city allows cachers on the property when the park is closed; however, they ask that if it is closed you park at the entrance and do NOT block the gates. ****Congratulations to Burkocat and Mads&Meg for the FTF!!!!
