SherwoodBC and I were placing other caches along the trail and decide that this lovely spot needed a new cache. While looking for a place for the new cache, we walked right up to the old cache... thinking that it would be a good spot to hide a cache.
After talking to the old CO, we are taking over the spot and old container with his permission. So come and visit this old mine site just off a great trail and beside a lovely waterfall.
The cache is not in or on the old truck, or the collapsed cabin. It will not be found in the old mine or near it's entrance. There is no point in looking under the waterfall; you will just get wet. No bushwacking, climbing, swimming or mining is required. Very near the side trail to the mine.
That is not to say that you should not look at all the above in this interesting area.
