An accidental cemetery found while goeacaching in the Haddam, KS, area one weekend. So accidental, that I just happened to notice a sign while passing by and jammed on brakes; did a U-turn; and stopped to investigate.
Small cemetery with the name, "Gingery" painted on a sign. While exploring cemetery, noticed only 2 headstones marking resting areas and evidence of possible others - think I counted 6-8 sites. 1 headstone had the names of a husband/wife with "Gingery" on it. This headstone is very close to the entrance gate. The other headstone was of a 4 day old baby girl.
To get to this site, travel east/west on US Hwy 36 between the towns of Haddam/Washington, KS. When you reach the intersection with KS Hwy 22, turn north towards Haddam, KS. The cemetery is roughly 1 mile or so (was not paying attention to distance when found/placed) north of intersection. Cemetery will be of west side of KS Hwy 22, and will more or less pop out at you if not paying attention.
Not too many places to hide a cache unless you wanted to climb something. Did not want to do that, so found a likely spot. Possible that you may smell like Christmas after the find. Should be a relatively quick find, you will be searching for a PILL BOTTLE. Overhead coverage may affect reception readings on whatever device you choose to use - you have been warned. Short walk to GZ - nothing to brag about.
Remember that this is a cemetery and please observe any/all rules/regulations that you may observe and that we all have read on other page write-ups concerning thiese types of locations.
