Geocache Description:

An urban cache close to the Cambridge War Memorial and the entrance to some special gardens.

The Homecoming is the name of the statue on the main Cambridge War Memorial which is close to this cache. It is the work of Canadian sculptor Dr Robert Tait Mackenzie and was unveiled in July 1922.

It was originally sited in the middle of the Hills Road/Station Road junction but it was relocated in 2012 to its current position where it acts as a focal point for a new public space.

This is an nice spot but it can get extremely busy so please be very careful when retrieving and replacing the cache so that it doesn't get muggled. The hint is quite specific so you shouldn't have to hunt around for long, assuming the person before you left it as they found it. You do not need to go into the gardens.

You are looking for a magnetic keyholder attached to railings and you will need something with which to sign the log.
