Another in a series of "big trees" in Montgomery County, MD, USA. It is an easy grab and go and should only take you 5 minutes once you enter to park.
This tree is not a native to this area but has grown enough to be the biggest of its kind in this area. It grows in India, actually. Click on the link for more information about this species.

The cache is not located on the tree but if you look behind the tree you will quickly see a good place to hide a cache. Walk around to the right (passing an enormous Tulip tree). You'll still have to do some searching, but check the hint if you need help. The cache is near one of the routes into the structure, and can be easily reached just off a path. Please replace it carefully as there isn't much room for error. The original black container was muggled in 2021, and the new container is a small camo plastic box that contains a log book and pencil, and as of December 2021, some great new small swag for the kids, as well as a new travel bug.
Thanks to TeamLuca for creating and maintaining this cache for years. In January 2021, TeamLuca transferred the cache to bejs, who are now responsible for it. This cache was designated as a 1/2 for difficulty and terrain, and we have kept that rating for historical purposes. It probably should be a difficulty 1.5 (or even 2) and a terrain 1.5.
