Geocache Description:

Mount Nanshan (大南山), with the height of 336 meters above sea level, definitely the best view point in Nanshan district! Good place for hiking and geocaching.

There is a GPS benchmark point nearby cache site which is not high only 77 m above sea level. Have a rest after climbing ,please! Try to find what is "海屋筹添九十春"? The posters are demonstrating an ancient body exercises in words and charts along the road.

There are three public main entrances to Nanshan mountain. They are Nanshan park entrance which is the main one of these three, Haiguan entrance (customs entrance ) which is near Shekou Customs, Lilin Park entrance which is near Nanshan avenue. Among them, Haiguan（海关） entrance leads to the most steep stone stairs and it is the most difficult route for hiking. Lilin park entrance is the most easy route because of the well-paved flat road leading forward to the peak. And there is a large parking lots there. The Nanshan park entrance also has a parking lots on the foot of the mountain. And this entrance will lead us to two routes with beautiful ocean sightseeing.
