This is the second cache placed by Barkinupthewrongtree. Placed in No Mans Land inbetween the fine City of Lincoln and the Village of Waddington. Please replace the cache back in the same place as it was retreived from. Please take care as Brant Road can be busy with heavy traffic at times. There is limited parking, but there are safe areas to leave your car.
The Brant road plays a major part in the major road systems that enter the City of Lincoln. The Character Area forms part of a larger suburban area located to the south of Lincoln centre around the former village of
Brabebridge. Northern parts of the Character Area in particular have a strong relationship with the marginally earlier Late
Victorian/Edwardian houses along and to the north of Elder Street. Newark Road, and Brant Road are important connecting
roads to Newark, Lincoln and the River Witham valley.
The area is connected with rural land within the Witham valley to the east, which is an important and well-used amenity for local
residents.
