There has been discussion with Local Community Boards and Council about joining these roads up with at least a proper walking track /path, so more locals can access the train station at Ranui ...and the local buses and shops ... But nothing seems to be happening . At the present time , you can still walk through , but it is a bit precarious crossing a tiny stream over a narrow board at the Ranui end ...Couldn't be done with a buggy , wheelchair or crutches ...The end of Marinich Drive from Swanson road is much easier to navigate , and on your way you may want to admire the lovely Community Gardens and fruit trees nearby . The walkway where the cache resides is a a pleasant and attractive wee reserve ..Although it could be tidied up a bit . Oh , if you see a hunk of concrete near GZ , that's not the cache ....
