Walkers' Rest is an often missed park at the top of Sinclair Street.
The park lies behind the converted pump house. There used to be a pavilion at the top end of the park, which has now been demolished. If anyone has any photographs of the park in it's heyday it would be wonderful if they could share them. It is muddy underfoot when it has been raining, so boots/wellies are recommended. The cache has been placed on the southern fence, you can walk through the park and exit above the pump house. There is on street parking on the other side of Sinclair Street, on Kennedy Drive. Please take care crossing this busy road, cars often exceed 30mph speed limit. Congratulations to Dumbartonlass for FTF and #100 :-)
