Number 2 of 15 on the Beer Trail.
Please be very careful when searching for this cache due to the nearby cliffs. It is not recommended that you search for this cache at night.
This cache will take you to one of my favourite points along the coastal path between Seaton and Beer. After a tough trek up the steep hill, you will be able to sit down on the lonesome bench and just enjoy the magnificent view of Seaton and beyond. There may often be muggles sat on the bench so stealth may be required
This location has some history. In 2009, a man was posing for photographs and fell to his death from these cliffs. Therefore, as this location is quite dangerous I have decided to place the cache away from the cliffs to ensure all family member's safety.
The coastline in this part of the world is slowly being eroded away, so VIEW IT WHILE YOU CAN!
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO BEYOND THE BENCH TOWARDS THE CLIFF IN ORDER TO FIND THE CACHE.
Update in August 2024. I have changed the location of the cache to make it a bit more accessible to all (and to avoid cachers having to dig around in the bushes). I will leave the co-ordinates the same as its only a couple of feet away from its previous location, but the hint has been updated.
