Who: All geocachers and muggles alike, from here or there; all are welcome
What: Our monthly geocachers' breakfast/brunch with a twist
When: 10:00am - 12:00pm, Saturday, November 29th
Where: Capital Winter Club, 232 Rookwood Avenue
Why: Because it's Come Out & Play time!
We get together upstairs at The Capital Winter Club on Rookwood Avenue for a brunch of eggs, bacom, ham, sausage, hashbrowns, toast and pancakes. We start at 10:00am with coffee and geo-chat until brunch is ready at approximately 10:30am.
The cost is $8.50 for adults and $5.00 for kids 12 and under. Cash only, please. Join us for a great meal, some interesting geo-chatter and meet and mingle with a wonderful group of people. Fuel up for a day of caching; who knows, there may be a group heading out for the afternoon. Bring your TBs and coins to share or discover. All are welcome, you're only a newbie here for the first few minutes.
The brunch is put on entirely by volunteers and they really need to know how many cachers to expect so that they can get the quantities of food (bacon!) needed. So, please log your will attends by Wednesday evening, November 26th, if possible and include the number of folks in your group. Thank you!
Nathalie (aka Treehugger21) is looking after Come Out & Play now and has a new and improved version for 2014 that she’s very excited to tell us about! She’ll be happy to answer any questions on the new game. It looks like lots of fun and is a good way to get out and play during the long, cold winter months.
