For HAG X we placed "In Good Company" on the Mary Vine Trail which starts at the Sooke Potholes parking lot and eventually leads to many great destinations (Peden Lake and Mount Empress being two of our favorites). We dedicated the cache to all of our caching friends that we'd shared the trails with. Since that time we've gone on many new epic adventures all over Vancouver Island with many great friends.
For HAG XI we introduce "In Good Company 2", which we again dedicate to all of our caching friends, those who we've shared the trails with as well as those we haven't yet. This cache is placed on a small connector trail that leads to Veitch Carriageway. Similar to the Mary Vine Trail, Veitch is the starting point to so many great destinations - Sugarloaf, Lands End, Braden, and many more. This cache is an easy find and is intended to give our caching friends a quick, first smilie of the day the next time they head off on an adventure in the area.
To access this cache you should park at a true Vancouver Island caching landmark... "The Mailboxes" - tell someone that you'll meet them at "The Mailboxes" and they'll know exactly where you mean. We've included a waypoint for parking and from there it's a short walk down the highway to the connector trail that leads to Veitch. Have an awesome adventure!
