Mullinmur Wetlands "Dont Leaf Me" Traditional Cache

This cache is a little off the walking track, not designed to be difficult, just fun in a wonderful natural environment. The area is sometimes inundated with flood water.

One in a series of caches in the Galen College Mullinmur Wetlands place by the Wangaratta High School yr 9 CLC students. This caches is the closest to the Phillipson Street entrance and is designed to be fun, not difficult. The cache is placed above the high water mark and is large enough for trades. Please leave the caches as you found it.

Ongoing development of the area will see the establishment of further walking tracks through the wetlands and additional studies embarked upon from the students of Galen and neighboring schools.

Take your time to explore the area along the tracks, watching bird life on the billabong, admiring the native grasses in the island area during dry times or sitting by the Ovens River. Watch out for nature, you are amongst it, this area is as a refuge for native wildlife displaced by urbanization.
