Louis' Lookout Multi-Cache

Balayang: I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Haggles, requesting additional time.

Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned.

In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party.

Geocache Description:

Louis' Lookout is located at the junction of Chesterpass Rd and Gnowangerup-Jerramungup Rd. ***Please note that the entrance to this rest stop is on Gnowangerup-Jerramungup Rd from the Gnowangerup direction. Google maps make it look as though it is reachable via two directions but the entryway from Chesterpass Rd is actually blocked.***

The lookout is a great place to stop and stretch the legs with beautiful views of sprawling paddocks and the Stirling Range. The cache is NOT located at the given co-ordinates, however you will need information found on the plaque (on the big rock) to ascertain the actual cache location.

You will find the cache at: S 34 01.???  E 118 16.ABC

??? = the year the lookout was opened minus 1450

A = second digit of The Abbey's height
B = first digit of Mt Trio's height
C = last digit of Ellen Peak's height

Once you work out the co-ordinates it should be an easy find.
