Costa di Trex è un piccolo villagio a circa 5 km da Assisi. E stata citata per la prima volta nel 1217 in un documento di Papa Onorio. Per l’origine del nome ci sono diverse spiegazioni. Significa „luogo delle tre“ e potrebbe riferirsi alle tre chiese oppure cappelle della cittá: la chiesa di Santo Stefano e le cappelle di San Bartolomeo e San Lorenzo annesse ad antiche case coloniche. Il „cache“ vi porterà vicino alla cappella di San Lorenzo. Oggi la casa serve da casa di vacanze indipendente per gruppi per lo piú tedeschi che visitano Assisi sulle tracce di San Francesco.
Costa di Trex is a small village about 5 km away from Assisi. It was first mentioned in a papal document of 1217. There are several different explanations for the origin of the village’s name. It means „place of the three“ and might refer to the three churches or chapels in the village: the church of San Stefano and the chapels of San Bartolomeo and San Lorenzo attached to ancient farmhouses. The cache leads you into the vicinity of the chapel of San Lorenzo. Today the annex is a self-catering holiday home for mostly German groups visiting Assisi on the trails of San Francesco.
Costa di Trex ist eine kleine Ortschaft ca. 5 km von Assisi entfernt. 1217 wurde es erstmals in einer Bulle von Papst Honorius erwähnt. Für die Herkunft des Ortsnamens gibt es verschiedene Erklärungen. Er bedeutet so viel wie "Ort der Drei" und könnte sich auf die drei Kirchen bzw. Kapellen am Ort beziehen: die Kirche San Stefano und die an alte Bauernhäuser angebauten Kapellen San Bartolomeo und San Lorenzo. Der Cache führt euch in die Nähe der Kapelle San Lorenzo. Das zugehörige ehemalige Bauernhaus ist heute ein Selbstversorgerhaus für überwiegend deutsche Gruppen, die auf den Spuren von Franziskus Assisi besuchen
