Geocache Description:

This is close to road, but should be accessed by trail, not through barbed-wire fence. :) As of Jan. 2018, the gravel lot off of Colorado 128 is now property of Colorado Dept of Transportation and may no longer be used as parking lot. Best parking is on Snowmass Circle. Park and walk. There are several caches along this trail.

In celebration of Halloween and all things spooky, this cache is in memory of our late black cat Bubba, whose spirit guards this hill. But don't be afraid. Bubba was a gentle soul and will protect all who venture along these trails.

An easy cache that involves a little walking. Bring along your dog and he'll help you sniff out this trailside cache (figuratively speaking!) Bring a poop bag and leash, though. Dog poop left on the trail is a big no-no and this is NOT in an off-leash area. Cache is a camo ducktaped pill bottle.

Congrats to Octobermoon (yes, there was one last night!) and birdmanbh3 for the FTF!

Update: The spirit of Bubba guarded this cache during the brush fire of 2/19/16. And it survived! I am renaming it to Bubba's Feel da Burn #1. Feel da Burn #2 will be coming soon.
