Geocache Description:

Sauk Centre is the home of America's 1st Nobel Prize winner for Literature - Sinclair Lewis.

The Interpretive Centre will provide you with an insight into the life of America’s first winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature.

The Schoolhouse was built in the early 1900s no electricity, no lights just the original wood stove. The desks were double-seaters & the original drinking fountain used a pail of water from the nearest farm and the other pail was set on top of the stove to be used later for washing hands.

After you’ve found the hidden letters in the caches, figure out what they spell (leave the letters in the cache for the next treasure hunters) then call or email us with your answer and address so we can send you - your very own water shoe key chain (info@visitsaukcentre.com) 320-352-5201
