Park at the Powdermill nature Center and cross the road to the Sugar Camp Trail after looking at the exhibits. Permission was granted by Powdermill to place this cache.
The cache is not too far off the Sugar Camp trail, so just stick to the trail until you think you are close. The trial is a easy 1-mile loop, so just go one direction or other an enjoy the hike. It’s flat terrain all the way. Respect the research projects by keeping disturbance to a minimum. They measure impacts of deer on the forest and we don’t want geocachers to harm vegetation trying to get to a cache. Also, if you disturb rocks, please put them back how you found them.
