No 8 in a series of caches some will be at sporting venues others may not.

The Brownlow Medal was formally Charles Brownlow Trophy.

It is a individual award given to a player who is judged to be the fairest and best player in the Australian Football League

during the regular season.

This is decided by votes by the officiating umpires after each game.

The Medal has been awarded every year since 1924 with the exceptionof an intermission from 1942 to 1945 due to the World War 2.

Players are ineligible to win the Medal if they have been suspended for on field offences.

The 1936 Brownlow Medal was won by Denis Ryan from the Fitzroy [the lions] Football Team.

He had 26 votes.
