Geocache Description:

When we're out caching, we carry a supply of replacement log sheets so that we can help out the cache owner by carrying out any maintenance that's required.

If anybody would like to replace any logs that need urgent servicing in our caches, please do so.

PLEASE NOTE THIS CAR PARK CLOSES AT DUSK.... DON'T GET LOCKED IN!!! ALSO THE TREE IS NOT THE SAME ONE AS IN PREVIOUS YEARS.... WE'VE FOUND ANOTHER TREE!!!

THIS CACHE IS DIFFERENT THIS YEAR IN THAT YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE TREE WHERE THE CACHE IS AND FIND THE COORDS FOR THE SECRET SANTA CACHE (and not the other way round as in previous years)!!!

In the log book for this cache, you will find the coordinates for the nearby Secret Santa

Decorating a Christmas tree has become (for cachers) an annual event in these woods and was meant as a way of cheering (and probably confusing) the regular dogwalkers, joggers and walkers who come to Well Woods! However, some of them joined in the spirit of things and left us Christmas cards on our tree and started one of their own!!

When the cache was placed this year, we put a few decorations on it but we ask that when you come to find this cache you add baubles, tinsel, bells, etc. Whatever takes your fancy!

By Christmas we hope the tree will look a picture once again! It’s a different tree this year. A smaller but more stereotypical Xmas tree!! We come back here at the beginning of 2015 to take down the decorations from the tree and enjoy Xmas leftovers and hot, mulled wine (and Ribena for the kids). It's become a bit of a favourite!! So, come and join us in the fun of stripping the tree and a Winter picnic in the dark on Saturday 10th January to Strip the Christmas tree heading off to a local pub to round off the event!

PLEASE DECORATE THIS TREE TO ADD COLOUR AND FUN TO THESE LOVELY WOODS

We think it probably best it you cable-tie ( or wire) the decorations to the tree in case of high winds.

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[Please be very careful not to be seen by muggles while finding, signing and replacing this cache! This is a busy spot with the dog walkers.]
