We love this Los Liones trail (or Los Leones...which ever spelling you prefer). It's great to get the little ones out and exploring without being too far from a bathroom or drinking fountain. You can usually find parking pretty easily unless it's a gorgeous sunny weekend day or if there's a large event going on somewhere and they're using the street for the valet parking lot (only in LA).
Park in one of the lots and then walk out to the street (Los Liones). Take a look at the majestic mural on the wall and then head over for a closer look and to find the geocache. Just watch out, because I have seen a lot of those animals depicted right here on this trail (large rattlesnake in a bush right next to the parking lot, deer, quail, hawk, butterflies, coyotes...) And watch out for muggles taking naps or having lunch in their cars.
There's a little nail that makes a pretty good resting spot for this container, so please try to put it back there.
