THIS IS A DAYLIGHT ONLY CACHE. There is no charge for hiking on the property. But please let Ray at the lodge know that you are geocaching.
This cache is part of the Stumps to Stones Series. Once you find all four Stumps to Stones caches, you will then have the coordinates to find the Puzzle Cache of the Series.
At each cache will be a clue with numbers to help fill in the coordinates for the Stumps to Stones Puzzle Cache. Be sure to take note of all needed clues.
The hike for the entire series (five caches) is roughly 1.6 miles round trip from parking. The four traditional caches are just feet from the paths. The final Puzzle Cache is a very minimal bushwhack but the terrain rating goes up for the Puzzle cache.
The caches are placed with permission on the property of the Blair County Game, Fish, and Forestry Association. The property is also used as a shooting range. ALL paths and roads are safe from the ranges and safe for hiking. There are well marked signs where not to walk. Please be sure to wear blaze orange during hunting seasons.
