Sunrise school was Kansas school district #114. There were many rural schools scattered all around Marshall county Kansas from the late 1800's to the mid 1960's. The beautiful rock is placed on the land where the school sat, and the storage shed is still standing. The building fell into disrepair and was torn down in the mid 1980's.
