Crinan Carsaig Castle cross Traditional Cache

Spectacular views on a crossroads for some great walks or cycles.

If you are walking park at Crinan Harbour car park (where there is an information board about the Crinan Trail).  Follow the green markers along a  track along the shore and through woodlands dripping with life.  After a steep climb you are on a forestry road with easy walking and beautiful views.  Carry on to Ardnoe point for views across to the Corryvreckan or to Castle Dounie for even better views from this majestically placed iron age fort high on a precipice.

If you are cycling you will be on the Ardnoe Trail.  Parking is available at Loch Coille-Bhar or Tayvallich village hall.
