Geocache Description:

Micro near the final resting place of many of Chandlersville, Ohio, founders and pioneers

Chandlersville Cemetery is located in Chandlersville; it is named after one of the founding families, whose graves are here. They processed salt from nearby Salt Creek and supplied it to many locations via the Muskingum River. (In the days before refrigeration and canning, salt was very necessary to preserve food.)

Park across the road in the newer part of the cemetery. Please be respectful near the graves and remember that cemeteries close at dusk.
