Circuit of Armagh 1. Mullinure lane. Traditional Cache

This series of caches encircle the city. From some of the caches you can see the key landmarks that the city is famous for. Mullinure lane will take you on a handy short cut from Loughgall Road to the Portadown Road without having to drive into the city centre.

Armagh is the county town of County Armagh in Northern Ireland. It is the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland – the seat of the Archbishops of Armagh, the Primates of All Ireland for both the Roman Catholic Church and the Church of Ireland. In ancient times, it and nearby Navan Fort (Eamhain Mhacha) was one of the great royal capitals of pagan Gaelic Ireland. Today it is home to two cathedrals and the Armagh Observatory.

The cache is a small test tube. Please take care to replace in its original position. The cache is located in the north of the city close to St Luke’s Hospital.
